One of the biggest pieces to the NHL is their minor league affiliations. With the majority of NHL teams owning their AHL team, movement has slowed between those affiliations, but the ECHL is a constant flow of movement as teams work to find the best affiliation for their needs.
Some affiliations have been long-standing, but with the numerous changes that can occur from year-to-year, it can be tough to keep up. Continuing the numerous years of hard work by Patricia Teter at Artful Puck, we have compiled the latest data for affiliations between the NHL, AHL, and ECHL teams.
