USPHL Confirms Rock Springs Grizzlies Joining, NoCo Eagles Seemingly Out

In a website post advertising the NCDC’s upcoming draft, the USPHL has confirmed the Rock Springs Grizzlies will be joining the league. Also in the graphic is the omission of the Northern Colorado Eagles, who was suspected of no longer being a part of the league after the announcement of the NAHL’s Colorado Grit moving into Greeley, Colorado next season.

As previously reported, the Grizzlies ownership had sent a letter locally within Rock Springs announcing the change of teams and the advancement to the NCDC, along with new owner Wesley Mussio’s announcement on Facebook.

Speculation had started regarding the status of the Northern Colorado Eagles with the announcement of the NAHL’s Grit, and the subsequent signing of head coach Steve Haddon. The NCDC’s graphic shows no mention of the Eagles, seemingly confirming that the team is no longer part of the league’s westward expansion.

Also missing from the NCDC’s graphic are the Boston Advantage and New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs. The NAHL also announced a new team with the New Hampshire Mountain Kings with the Monarch’s social media also providing updates on the Mountain Kings.
