The St. Cloud Norseman picked up the win over the Bismarck Bobcats in Game 1 of the Central Division semifinals, coming out on top with the 4-1 win at home.
Blake Perbix earned the first and fourth goals for the Norseman, with additional goals from Broten Sabo and Nick Young. Ryan O’Neill and Peyton Hanson picked up a pair of assists in the game as well.
Ryan Taylor avoided the shutout for the Bobcats, scoring at the 12:09 mark of the first period, but Bismarck was unable to find the back of the net for the remainder of the contest.
Tomas Bolo made 23 saves in the win for the Norseman, while Oskar Spinnars Nordin turned aside 36 shots in the loss for Bismarck.
