The South Division semifinals kicked off between the Lone Star Brahmas and Shreveport Mudbugs on Friday, with the Brahmas shutting out the Mudbugs and taking a 1-0 series lead.
Just a single goal made the difference in the matchup, as Logan Tobias scored the game’s only goal, giving Lone Star the 1-0 series lead.
Arthur Smith picked up the shutout in net for Lone Star, turning aside all 22 shots he faced. Devon Bobak took the loss in net, stopping 27-of-28 shots.
