The United States Premier Hockey League has announced the addition of the Columbia Infantry starting with the 2022-23 season, in both the Premier and Elite divisions of the USPHL.
The Infantry will be playing out of Flight Adventure Park located in Irmo, South Carolina.
This will be the first foray for junior hockey in the Columbia area, which was previously home to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL from 2001-2008.
