WSHL Vegreville Announces New Head Coach

The Vegreville Vipers have announced a new head coach for the 2021-22 WSHL season, introducing Brian Noad behind the bench. Noad becomes the second named head coach of the team prior to their season debut.

The Vipers originally announced John Collings as their initial head coach, followed by Kyle Outridge being named assistant head coach. That would eventually change as the Vipers’ website began to only show assistant coach Tom McIntyre on their Staff page, and now the team has officially announced Noad as their new head coach.

Noad joins the Vipers after a season with the West Central Rage of the Prairie Junior Hockey League in 2020-21. The Rage announced this past offseason that they would be taking a leave of absence for this season in the PJHL.

The Vipers announced on their Twitter that the WSHL will be looking at a late-October start, pinpointing the weekend of October 29th.
