
The Henderson Silver Knights announced that they have signed defenseman Derrick Pouliot to a one-year AHL deal for the 2021-22 season. Pouliot enters his seventh season in the AHL, having stops in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, San Antonio, and most recently Lehigh Valley. This deal marks Pouliot’s first AHL-only deal of his career.
Last season, Pouliot skated in 25 games with the Phantoms, scoring 14 points with a -5 +/-rating. In 197 career games, Pouliot has tallied 30 goals and 93 assists over his previous six seasons.

A former first-round NHL pick, Pouliot’s skated in 202 NHL games in his career with the Penguins, Canucks, and Blues, scoring 48 points.
